Raider Card Fundraiser for Bruster’s Ice Cream Reward

This evening, each member of the Marching Band received Two “Raider Cards” to sell as a fundraiser for the Band.  Each card sells for $20, with $10 going directly toward the Band.  The $20 can be easily recouped by the buyer in a very short time by utilizing the discounts available on the card.  These discounts are available until July 2018.

In an effort to motivate the students to sell these cards, the Marching Band has been divided into two groups.  The Drum Major, Woodwinds, and Brass are in one group (24 members), while Percussion and Color Guard are in another group (25 members), making both groups almost even in numbers.  If a group sells 40 cards, they will get a special treat—Bruster’s Ice cream will bring a couple of tubs of ice cream for them to enjoy.  If both groups sell 40 cards, the group that sells the most will get to pick the flavors of ice cream.  Only students who sell at least 1 card can participate in their winning team’s ice cream social.
